PEMFC Balance of Plant

The fuel cell stack needs to be balanced for the proper functioning, i.e. supplied with reactant gases, cooled, electrically connected. The entirely of these units are called Balance-of-Plant (BoP).

DESCRIPTION

The BoP includes: valves, air compressor, air filter, humidifier, coolant pumps, radiator, H2 recirculation, etc. Depending on the application, ancillaries can be needed: expander, heat exchanger, power electronics, start-up power sources and sensors.

All of these elements require checks before their assembly and Marposs offers customized solutions that allow the control of BoP components quality.
